An RMIT invoice will be automatically emailed to your chosen email address.

Note: Short-listed entries will be cross-checked for proof of occupation (eg. A valid Student I.D). All submissions with incorrect or expired student details will be removed from the competition.

Submissions

Submissions must not contain any identifiable marks, logos or names that can be linked to either professional firms or Universities. Any found will result in the submission being removed from the competition.

Submission is to be a maximum two AO .PDF panels (1189mmx841mm), landscape or portrait uploaded to the competition website as a single PDF that must not exceed 8MB. Any competition received after the deadline will not be included in the competition.

Competition Deadlines

The top 20 designers will have their submissions published as part of the KERB18 journal. The KERB18 Editorial Team has the right to reformat any submissions to complement the layout of the journal. Any submissions of notable merit unrecognized by the jury will be reformatted for publication also.

Exhibition

The competition exhibition will be run simultaneously with the launch of the KERB18 journal, during which the winning designs will be announced by one selected jury member. The top twenty entries will be on display throughout the event, to be held at a venue that complies with the PlastiCity FantastiCity design brief.

Selection of Entries

The editorial team will ensure all submissions comply with the outlined brief. Any submissions that do not comply with format or address the brief in some way will be removed from the competition.

The jury will include five invited members marking according to a criteria sheet devised by the Editorial Team. In the event that a decision cannot be made a member of the Editorial Team will intervene to determine a winner. The role of the member from the editorial team is only activated in a situation if a jury member can not make a decision. No announcement of the winner will be released until the launch of KERB18 in March 2010.

The top twenty submissions will be announced after the jury process and the editorial selections will be notified.

All submissions must provide a CD or DVD with CMYK tiff images and any text in a word document in order for production of KERB18.
